A short animation film of the Icelandic folklore about Búkolla. Different drawing styles draw up an animation based on the story of Búkolla. The styles are divided into chapters in the story and are based on two-dimensional, three-dimensional andartificial intelligence drawing – along with the various subcategories of these three styles. The story of Búkolla is created from certain folklore motives, just as each drawing style is based on certain characteristics or motives. The designers’ style is constantly evolving, but at the same time, each designer is encouraged to have “their own style”. But can that style be many styles? The styles involved here are variably time consuming and differ in implementation and complexity. Their mixing is related to the development of the story and its scenario.
